Taupo

Dance with the Taupo SCD Group

Thursday afternoons: 2pm to 3.30pm
St. Paul’s Union Church Hall corner Tamamutu St. & Rifle Range Rd, Taupo.

Our informal group was started in 1997 as a U3A group by a Scottish woman who found that only one or two of those attending knew anything about Scottish Country Dancing. We’ve come a long way since then, giving demonstrations and entertaining at various functions and Rest homes, and, as you can see, also enjoy dancing on the lawn on Robert Burns night.

Your first afternoon is free, and thereafter a weekly contribution of $3 towards Hall hire and music; comfortable clothes, light soft footwear and a smile is all that is required.

To make enquiries email us on taupo@dancescottish.org.nz or phone Margaret 021 142 7590
Visitors and newcomers are very welcome. Do come and have a go!
